The series begins March 17 with “Learning About Muslim Beliefs and Traditions,” featuring Imran Malik, Executive Director of the Noor Islamic Cultural Center (NICC) in Columbus. The Hilliard-based NICC has 6,000 members representing 40 ethnicities. Malik is one of five winners of the Central Ohio 2015 Jefferson Awards, presented to individuals who do extraordinary things in their communities without expectation of anything in return.
