This is a one-day class scheduled for Sunday, September 7, from 12:30–2:30 pm. A light lunch will be provided, and childcare is available. If you decide to join Stonybrook Church, you will be commissioned during one of the worship services on September 14. You can sign up on the back of the connection card or by clicking here.

Greece Trip – 2026  Interested in walking where the Apostle Paul once walked?  Join us for an Information Session on Sunday, August 3 at 2:00 pm at Stonybrook United Methodist Church to learn more about a meaningful journey through Greece in 2026.  This gathering is an opportunity to explore the itinerary, ask questions, and consider whether this type of spiritual pilgrimage might be right for you.  Led by Pastor David and Melissa Hoffman, the trip (departing June 20, 2026) will include visits to places like Philippi, Thessaloniki, Corinth, and Athens—key cities in Paul’s ministry and the life of the early church.  This journey is not just about seeing historical sites.  It is about deepening your understanding of scripture, building community with others, and creating space for spiritual growth.  Whether you are already considering the trip or are simply curious, we would love for you to come and learn more.  Here is a link to the brochure and more information about the trip.  https://www.eo.travelwithus.com/tours/pa26062026a61976#eotours

June Mission Collection

In June, the Mission Committee (formerly Mission Task Force) is inviting donations of Feminine Hygiene items for GRIN. These items are not included in SNAP card allowances and are taxable items, making these necessary items for one half of our population causing money that could be used for food or medicine to be used on these expensive items. Pads or tampons may be brought into the church through June 30 and placed in the grocery cart in the Narthex.
