June Mission Collection

In June, the Mission Committee (formerly Mission Task Force) is inviting donations of Feminine Hygiene items for GRIN. These items are not included in SNAP card allowances and are taxable items, making these necessary items for one half of our population causing money that could be used for food or medicine to be used on these expensive items. Pads or tampons may be brought into the church through June 30 and placed in the grocery cart in the Narthex.

Throughout the evening, lit candles will be extinguished to encourage reflection and contemplation on the final hours of Jesus’ life. Join us on Holy Thursday, April 17, for a meaningful evening of worship as we walk with Jesus from the Upper Room to the Garden.  Together, we will reflect on the powerful moments of that night -- when Jesus washed the disciples’ feet, shared in Holy Communion, and offered heartfelt prayers to God.  Through scripture, prayer, song, and special music, we’ll enter the sacred story of Jesus’s final hours and open our hearts to the grace that still reaches us today.  The service will be held in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm.  All are welcome. If you can't attend in person, the service will be live-streamed and available online at stonybrook.church/worship, as well as on Facebook and YouTube.
