Spring Clearning

Spring Clearning

Lent Sermon Series and Study: “Spring Clearing” Traditionally, Lent is a season of learning and preparing for baptism, which is a sign of new life with Christ's resurrection. During this year's Lenten season, we seek to clear out and clear away all that weighs us and ties us down. We seek to make room for the new Spirit from God that leads us from death to life. We begin the Lent season with Ash Wednesday service at 7pm, February 14. To facilitate this 'clearing', we will study five spiritual disciplines: Spiritual autobiography, Inductive Bible study, Lectio Divina, Prayer labyrinth, and Breath prayer. We are offering this study on Wednesday mornings at 10am in MPR, beginning February 21 to March 20. We will also offer the study Wednesday evening from 6-7pm, with dinner served starting at 5pm. Click here to sign up or call the church office
