Christian Life Groups are gatherings of people who join together on a consistent basis with a purpose and are intentional about having spiritual conversations and strengthening their relationship with Jesus. There are several groups within Stonybrook comprised of people of all ages and interest. Groups meet at homes of individuals or at the church. Childcare is provided for some groups. By design, groups are kept small so participants have the opportunity to build strong personal relationships with other like-minded Christians. Everyone is encourage and welcome to join a Life Group!
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance Thursday afternoons from 1:00-1:45 pm and Mondays evenings from 6:00-6:45 pm. This is a program that is designed to strengthen core muscles and increase body awareness to help reduce falls, improve physical function and improve balance.
Tai Chi for Beginners Mondays from 5:00 pm- 5:45 pm through May 20. This free class will focus on 8 Tai Chi forms that have been proven to help with balance. Questions? Call Lee Strait at 614.439.2381.
A Matter of Balance This award-winning program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. The free 4-week class will meet at Stonybrook on Thursdays, April 4-25 from 2:00-4:00 pm. If you are concerned about falling, have restricted your activity due to falling or are interested in improving balance, flexibilty and strength, please join us!
Where Moms Connect
Where Moms Connect is a place for moms of all ages and stages to come together and enjoy meaningful conversation, laughter, friendship, and support. Come join our group for a relaxing time of sharing and encouragement while growing both personally and spiritually. We meet in the family lounge downstairs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 9:30-11:00 am during the school year. Childcare is available!
